Precision CNC Machining, Prototype to Production
When tolerances are tight, the machining decides whether parts fit and function. P&A International engineers precision CNC machining of high-tolerance parts in low and high volume, in a comprehensive range of materials including titanium components for aerospace, across many machine types in the partner network.
As an engineering-led contract manufacturer founded as an engineering consultancy, we assign one dedicated engineer who helps with design-for-machining, specifies materials and delivers free off-tool samples, then scales into volume through our vetted partner-factory network, where every supplier is ISO 9000 certified or better.

What we deliver

CNC milling
3-axis and multi-axis milling of prismatic parts, plates and housings to tight tolerances and fine finishes.

CNC turning & mill-turn
Turned and mill-turn parts for round and shaft geometry with milled features in a single set-up.

5-axis & complex parts
5-axis machining of impellers, contoured and aerospace parts — fewer set-ups, tighter true position.

Titanium & exotics
Titanium for aerospace and medical, plus stainless, tool steel and engineering plastics, with full material certs.
Engineering capability
- Design-for-machining review on intricate and high-tolerance components
- Milling, turning, mill-turn and 5-axis across many machine types

Why engineers & buyers choose PA
For design engineers
A true design partner — one dedicated engineer, design-for-machining advice, material specification and tolerance review, including demanding titanium and 5-axis work. We help reach the tightest tolerances without over-machining the cost.
For purchasing
Low-risk scalability — free off-tool samples before mass production, prototype and production both supported, target-cost DFM, a single point of contact, and a vetted ISO 9000+ partner network managed end-to-end by P&A.
3 easy steps to get started
Send us your model
Share a 3D model and drawing with tolerances and material — or just the part. One dedicated engineer reviews machinability and quotes.
Proposed approach & quote
You receive a proposed machining approach and indicative pricing — typically within 48 hours — to review and refine together.
Samples & production
Free off-tool samples with quality-assessment reports. On approval, parts are machined, finished, inspected and shipped through our partner network.
Applications
Aerospace & defence · medical devices · industrial automation · electronics & thermal · energy · instrumentation · prototyping.
CNC machining is one part of our metal capability. Explore the aluminium & metal hub, general machining, metal & steel fabrication, and metal stamping.
Designing for CNC machining
A few early decisions shape every machined part — sharing this detail lets us quote and prototype faster:
| Material | Aluminium for cost and weight; stainless/steel for strength; titanium for aerospace and medical. |
| Tolerances | Call out only the critical tolerances — blanket-tight tolerancing drives cost. |
| Internal radii | Internal corners need a radius (tool diameter); avoid sharp internal corners where possible. |
| Finish | Specify Ra only where it matters; anodise/plate needs the right base alloy. |
| Volume | Prototype and production pricing differ — share both so we quote the right route. |
What to send us for a fast, accurate quote
The more of this you can share, the quicker we can return a proposed design and price:
- A 3D model (STEP/IGES) and a drawing with critical dimensions
- Material and any tolerance / GD&T / datums
- Surface finish (Ra) on key faces
- Prototype quantity and production volume
- Finish and inspection / CMM requirements
- Target cost and call-off pattern
Working from a model or a sample is fine — our engineer will review machinability and propose the best process.
